Who we are

Account information such as your email address and authentication data when you sign up.
Recipe content you upload or create, including text, images, and organization structure for your library and cookbooks.
Public site content you publish, including page layouts and domain configuration.
Usage data such as pages visited, feature usage, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
Payment information if you subscribe to a paid plan. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
How we use information
To provide the service: import, organize, preview, export, and publish your cookbooks and public site.
To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To respond to support requests and improve the product.
To calculate nutrition from ingredient data you provide and to process optional AI blurbs or images you request.
How we share information
We use infrastructure and service providers to run CookBookr, including hosting, authentication, storage, email, analytics, and payment processing. They process data only to provide services to us.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.
We do not sell your personal information or recipe content.
Data retention
We keep your account and cookbook data while your account is active. You may delete projects or request account deletion by contacting us.
We retain logs and backups for a limited period for security, troubleshooting, and legal compliance.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and industry-standard practices to protect your data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take it seriously.

Your choices
You can access and edit your recipe content in the app.
You can request deletion of your account through the contact form.
You can opt out of non-essential communications through the contact form.
Children
CookBookr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
